A-list Guest Shoves Meghan Markle Off Stage at Variety’s Power of Women Event

The highly anticipated Variety Power of Women event took place at Citizen News in Los Angeles on Thursday night, with a star-studded red carpet filled with renowned celebrities.

The occasion aimed to celebrate the remarkable achievements of women in the entertainment industry.

Among the honored guests were Carey Mulligan, Fantasia Barrino, Lily Gladstone, and Billie Eilish, who mesmerized the audience with a performance of “What Was I Made For,” alongside her brother Finesse O'Connell.

Margot Robbie, Tom Ackley, and Josie McNamara, the founders of Lucky Chap, were recognized with the prestigious Producer of the Year award, while Emily Blunt received the Power of Women Alumni Award from premier partner Wells Fargo.

Adding to the grandeur of the event, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dua Lipa, Emerald Fennell, Ariana Greenblatt, and Oprah Winfrey took turns introducing the honorees at the Variety Power of Women presented by Lifetime.

Given Meghan's prolonged absence from the entertainment industry, one may wonder why she was invited to such a star-studded ceremony celebrating the accomplishments of women in entertainment.

The answer lies in the fact that she purchased a seat.

However, despite the glamour and excitement surrounding the gala, Meghan Markle faced an unexpected snub.

The A-list celebrities present at the event seemed to disregard her presence, going as far as pushing her away from the prime photography spot.

A video posted by Variety captured the moment when Meghan Markle, dressed in an elegant off-the-shoulder camel dress with a sleek bun, posed for the cameras on the red carpet at the Variety Power of Women event.

Oblivious to the need to make way for other guests, she continued to pose with a beaming smile, seemingly engrossed in taking the limelight away from the renowned attendees.

Eventually, one guest grew impatient and forcefully pushed Meghan off the stage.

The incident, caught on camera, showed an outstretched hand making contact with Meghan, propelling her away from the cameras.

It appeared as though Meghan was attempting to extend her moment of fame, but her actions were met with disapproval.
