Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Announces 2023 Ripple of Hope Award Winners

In an exciting announcement, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights has revealed the winners of its prestigious 2023 Ripple of Hope Awards.

This year's laureates include Jeff Arnold, the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Sharecare, Greg Barone, Founder and CEO of Attain Enterprises, and Gail K. Boudreau, President and CEO of Elephants Health.

The gala event to honor these remarkable individuals will take place on Wednesday, December 6 in New York City.

However, what caught people's attention was a notable absence mentioned on the organization's website.

Previous recipients of the Ripple of Hope Awards have included prominent figures such as Stacey Abrams, Amanda Gorman, former President Barack Obama, Tim Cook, Colin Kaepernick, Dolores Werrer, Desmond Tutu, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, late Congressman John Lewis, Bono, Dr. Anthony Faurie, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Robert F. Smith, George Clooney, former President Bill Clinton, and then Vice President Joe Biden.

Surprisingly, and were not mentioned among the esteemed list of past winners.

It raises the question of whether they were excluded or if they voluntarily declined the award.

Last year, and were honored at the 2022 Ripple of Hope Award ceremony for their efforts in combating racism, particularly within the Royal Family.

Cree Kennedy, who presented them with the award, commended their commitment to this cause.

It was a significant moment when the RFK Foundation recognized their fight against racism.

However, it appears that the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization has since removed any trace of the Sussexes from their social media accounts.

A thorough search of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Twitter account revealed that posts featuring Meghan and Harry, which were present last year, have now been deleted.

Similarly, their names and any references to them yield no results on the organization's Instagram account.

Although there is one post from last year's awards ceremony that includes a picture of the couple, there are no mentions of their names in the caption.

Interestingly, this post received three hundred comments discussing Meghan and Harry's philanthropy.

Rumors have circulated that Kerry Kennedy, President of the RFK Foundation, rescinded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Ripple of Hope Award following Harry's recent admission during an interview with Tom Bradby.

In the interview, Harry denied allegations that he had accused members of his own family of racism, which had caused controversy after his bombshell interview in 2021.

He reiterated his denial during a subsequent interview on Good Morning America.

This contradiction has led to speculation that the award was revoked due to the conflicting statements made by Harry.

Kerry Kennedy now finds herself in an awkward position for honoring the couple, especially after the award recognized their efforts in combating structural racism within the Royal Family.

It seems that the situation has caused embarrassment, as Kennedy no longer mentions Harry and Meghan on her Twitter account.

The last time she referenced them was on December 22, in a post that garnered negative comments.

According to a report by The Times, it appears that Buckingham Palace has closed its doors to the Sussexes.

While the King may miss his second son at his upcoming birthday celebration, the rest of the family seems less inclined to extend an olive branch.

Even a source who recently spent time with the Royal Family in Scotland expressed hope for reconciliation, but the revelation of the couple's lucrative projects seems to have further strained relations.

At present, it appears that the family has firmly shut the door on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, at least for the time being, due to their involvement in a documentary and the forthcoming book.

Although the King may be more forgiving towards his son, the current state of affairs suggests that the door to reconciliation remains firmly closed, much like a jar that cannot be easily opened.
