Royal Ladies Shine in Glittering Jewels at South Korean State Banquet

The King and Queen of England, Charles and , made a grand entrance at the South Korean State Banquet, creating a dazzling spectacle on a glittery evening.

The monarch took the opportunity to reference K-pop culture in his speech.

Accompanying them were the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Princess Royal, as they hosted South Korean President Yun Suk-hyol and his wife Kim Kyung-hee for the white-tie dinner.

The event marked a rare tiara moment for the Royal Ladies, who adorned themselves with an array of glittering jewels from the vaults.

Queen wore the late II's Burmese ruby tiara for the first time, pairing it with a stunning red velvet Fiona Clare gown.

Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales, Catherine, chose to wear the Strathmore rose tiara, a piece of royal jewelry that had not been seen publicly since the 1930s.

This was the first time in decades that the Princess wore the late Queen Mother's tiara, which she complemented with a white Jenny Peckham gown.

She also wore the earrings that once belonged to the late Queen.

The Strathmore rose tiara holds sentimental value as it was a wedding gift to Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Leon, later known as the Queen Mother, from her father, the Earl of Strathmore and King Horne, in 1923.

In the late 1920s, it was fashionable to wear tiaras across the forehead, and the Queen Mother often followed this trend.

Catherine, the mother of three, paired the tiara and gown with gold floral detailing, embroidered on her white Jenny Peckham dress.

The British fashion designer has been a go-to for the Princess, providing her with some of her most stunning evening looks, including a glittering gold sequin number worn at the James Bond premiere in 2021.

However, it was the breathtaking tiara that stole the show.

Catherine's half-updo showcased the late II's diamond pendant earrings, adding to her regal appearance.

As expected, the Princess's makeup was elegant, highlighting her natural beauty.

She wore a smoky eye, a sweep of blush, and a pink lip.

, alongside his stunning wife, looked smart in a black suit.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales had the honor of welcoming the President and the First Lady at their hotel.

and Queen Camilla are hosting President Eun Suk-yo and his wife, Kim Kyeon-hee, for a three-day state visit.
