The focus should have been on Charles's anti-food waste project, not on family drama.

This is something Charles has expressed his disapproval of in the past.

Not only did Meghan and Harry face opposition from the king and Camilla, but William also made it clear that he would not want them at any Christmas gathering.

A friend of William's described their desire to attend as narcissistic and delusional.

It is understandable that William and Kate would not want to sit down for lunch with someone who publicly insulted them.

The royal family has made it clear that they want nothing to do with Harry and Meghan.

Despite their delusions of power, the couple has been consistently shut down by the family.

It is hard to imagine how they are handling this news in Montecito.

Their hopes of gaining publicity through an invitation have been dashed.

While the traitors will be left celebrating in Montecito, Camilla's children and grandchildren will be joining the royal family for Christmas.
