Princess Catherine Set to Shine in Glittering Tiaras for Upcoming State Visit

Since her marriage to and becoming a member of the royal family, Princess Catherine has rarely been seen wearing a tiara.

Although the British royal family possesses a stunning collection of bejeweled tiaras, they are typically reserved for prestigious engagements.

However, it seems that the Princess of Wales may soon have the perfect opportunity to don one of these exquisite headpieces.

Buckingham Palace recently announced that III will be hosting a state visit for the President of the Republic of Korea, Kim Kion, at Buckingham Palace this month.

During a state visit, the royal family traditionally welcomes their guests with a grand state banquet held in the palace's opulent ballroom.

The dress code for such occasions calls for gentlemen to wear tuxedos, while ladies don long gowns.

And for the royal ladies, this usually means adorning themselves with tiaras.

Although it has yet to be confirmed whether the Prince and Princess of Wales will attend the state visit, it is highly likely that Catherine will choose one of her go-to jewels for the occasion.

At the first state visit of III's reign, where President Cyril Ramaphosa was hosted last autumn, Catherine captivated onlookers with a white, embellished Jenny Packham gown and the lover's knot tiara.

This was the last time the Princess of Wales was seen wearing a tiara, apart from the royal wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa in Jordan.

However, fashion coach and celebrity stylist Miranda Holder warns that Catherine's preferred headpiece is not always easy to wear.

According to the expert, the weight of the tiara can cause headaches, as it did for the late .

Additionally, the swinging, pear-shaped pearls are said to create quite a noisy spectacle.

Despite these challenges, Catherine remains enamored with the tiara and wore it for the first time outside the UK at the aforementioned wedding.

Many royal enthusiasts are hopeful that the Princess will grace us with another tiara appearance, particularly during King Charles III's coronation in May.

The 1953 coronation of II featured numerous ladies donning their own sparkling tiaras.

However, Catherine opted for a silver laurel fabric arrangement created by Jess Collette and Alexander McQueen instead.

The Princess of Wales initially wore a tiara on her wedding day to in 2011.

She was loaned the Cartier-Halo tiara, a stunning piece dating back to 1936 that belonged to the late Queen Mother.

However, since her nuptials, Catherine has not been seen wearing her wedding jewels again.
