Harry Crushed as Arthur Chaddow Becomes First Royal Marines Commander and Receives Noble Position
In a surprising turn of events, Prince Harry has been left devastated as his cousin, Arthur Chaddow, is chosen as the first Royal Marines commander and bestowed with a prestigious position.
While the grandchildren of Princess Margaret Countess of Snowdon often remain in the shadows when it comes to the royal family's limelight, Arthur's accomplishments have not gone unnoticed.
Despite being a great-nephew of the late Queen, Arthur has rarely made headlines.
However, he has managed to establish a name for himself through his dedication to physical pursuits and charitable endeavors.
Recently, Arthur joined the rest of the family at the national event for the platinum Jubilee and attended the late Queen's funeral, where he was seen proudly wearing his Royal Marines uniform.
The news of Arthur's selection comes after an article published on October 25th, 2020, accused Prince Harry of turning his back on the Royal Marines.
Following his withdrawal from military roles in March, it seemed as though the Duke had snubbed the armed forces.
Consequently, he was stripped of his military titles, including Commodore-in-Chief of ships and diving, and Honorary Air Commandant of RAF Huntington in February 2021.
Interestingly, sources reveal that the late Queen had been actively searching for a replacement for Harry's position in the Royal Marines since he and the Duchess of Sussex decided to step away from their royal duties.
Arthur emerged as the leading candidate for this noble role, capturing the Queen's attention with his every move.
Impressed by his commitment, the Queen decided to grant him a new title once he proves his strength.
Arthur's decision to join the Royal Marines last year follows in the footsteps of his mother's cousin, Prince Edward, who completed the grueling course four months after enlisting in 1986.
By successfully completing the intensive commando training, Arthur will become the first member of the royal family to join the Royal Marines.
Reports suggest that Arthur informed his great-aunt, the late Queen, about his plans, and she was said to be delighted.
Prince Edward has also shown immense support for Arthur throughout his journey.
While other members of the royal family have a rich history of military service, including Prince William's service in the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and British Army, and Prince Harry's active duty in Afghanistan, Arthur's achievement stands out as truly exceptional.
Notably, King Charles served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force, Prince Andrew in the Royal Navy, Prince Philip in the Royal Navy, and even the late Queen herself served as a mechanic during World War II in the Auxiliary Territorial Service.
Prior to deleting his Instagram account two years ago, Arthur had gained a reputation for his various physical pursuits.
He attended the Westminster Cathedral Choir School and later studied at the University of Edinburgh.
One notable achievement he shared with his 222,000 followers was his team's success in breaking two world records during the GB row, where they became the youngest team ever to accomplish such a feat.
The arduous journey took them 42 days, 8 hours, 23 minutes, and 16 seconds, culminating in a triumphant moment under Tower Bridge.
