Harry and Meghan’s US Careers: A Humiliating Corner They Can’t Escape

In a surprising turn of events, it seems that the cartoons Harry once turned to for lighthearted entertainment have now turned on him.

First, it was South Park taking a jab at the couple's worldwide privacy tour, and now Family Guy has joined in by mocking their lucrative deals and US careers.

The recent Family Guy episode features characters resembling Harry and Meghan lounging by a pool, with a butler presenting them with a bundle of cash from Netflix.

The scene humorously highlights the couple's multi-million-dollar deal with the streaming giant, followed by Meghan joking about their daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.

This not-so-subtle mockery hits close to home for the Sussexes, exposing the corner they find themselves in.

This raises the question: what does this tell us about Meghan and Harry's US careers and their brand since they began their truth-telling journey?

It has been nearly a year since their debut on Netflix with a docuseries that left many underwhelmed.

Shortly after, Harry released his memoir, “Spare,” which delved into the same narrative of trauma inflicted by his family, leading to their decision to step back from royal duties.

Despite seemingly having shared their truth, it appeared that Meghan and Harry were ready to move on and focus on meaningful work.

However, their post-docuseries actions have been an all-out PR assault.

From the near-catastrophic car chase scene in New York to being dropped by Spotify and having to leave Frogmore Cottage, their journey has been far from smooth.

Harry's Heart of Invictus documentary failed to garner much attention, and their personal lives have become the subject of intense scrutiny.

Instead of establishing themselves as leaders in the American cultural and political landscape, they have found themselves cozying up to celebrities like the Kardashians.

This stark contrast to the hope many had for them back in 2020 has left people disappointed.

Many expected Meghan and Harry to follow in 's footsteps, championing causes that often go unnoticed by society.

They were seen as potential advocates for change, using their royal influence for the greater good.

However, their years of anti-palace rhetoric and mediocre content creation have damaged their reputations.

Harry is now known more for criticizing his own family than for his charitable work.

As a result, Harry and Meghan are left to fend for themselves, desperately searching for ways to maintain their lavish lifestyle.

With their money-making options dwindling, they may have to align themselves with big corporations and accept paid partnerships.

Harry's recent appearance at the Formula One event as a VIP guest suggests a possible direction for his future endeavors.

Additionally, he remains the chief impact officer for BetterUp, a billion-dollar coaching company, while Meghan has ventured into finance with Wall Street firm Ethic.

It's only a matter of time before we see the couple resort to paid Instagram posts or endorsements for various products.

Their current trajectory suggests that they may soon find themselves promoting golf clubs or shampoo.

It begs the question: did Harry make the right choice in leaving the “made-up nonsense” of royal life?

In contrast, no one would expect to endorse dishwashing liquid.

The choices Harry and Meghan have made have led them down a path far from what many anticipated.

Their future remains uncertain, and it's up to them to navigate the challenges that lie ahead.
