Prince Harry Receives Boos from Crowd at King Charles’ Coronation

faced a less than warm welcome as he arrived at Westminster Abbey for ' coronation.

The crowd in London's Hyde Park erupted into boos as the Duke of Sussex appeared on the big screen early on Saturday morning, May 6th.

National World Reporter Imogen Howes was present at the scene to witness the crowd's jeers.

However, amidst the unfriendly reception, there were some members of the public who pushed back, with one individual commenting, “That's not very nice.”

In contrast, the Prince and Princess of Wales, accompanied by their children Prince George, , and , were greeted with enthusiastic cheers as they made their way to the Abbey.

The Duke of York and Princess Royal also arrived at Westminster Abbey alongside the Duke of Sussex.

Together, they all entered the Abbey just before 10:40 am.

During the coronation service, found himself seated in the third row, among minor non-working members of the royal family.

He was placed between and , alongside Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank and Princess Alexandra, II's cousin.

As he walked down the aisle alone, he smiled at people, but most seemed to turn away or ignore him.

It is clear that many people hold strong feelings of disgust towards him.

However, it was Harry's interactions with Eugenie that revealed his awkwardness.

Caught on camera, he was seen making comments about her pregnancy belly, gesturing as if he were sweeping his hands down in a belly motion.

Eugenie, who has previously been known to comment on weight, turned around abruptly.

One can almost imagine her inner monologue, contemplating how she couldn't confront him in front of the cameras and the crowd.

She quickly covered her stomach with her hands and pulled her coat over it.

It is evident that Harry did say something along those lines.

Observing Harry during the coronation, one cannot help but see the consequences of “Megxit” laid bare.

With the king reclaiming the keys to the Sussex's Windsor estate home, Frogmore Cottage, and reports of strained transatlantic relations, it begs the question of when or if Harry will ever attend another royal event at the abbey during his father's lifetime.

It is highly likely that the next time the Duke of Sussex sets foot in the abbey, it will be for his father's funeral.

By the time this article is published, Harry will likely be on his way back to the United States, or may have already arrived.

He will be far away from his family in every sense.

At least he can find solace in the presence of palm trees, a symbol of his new life.
