Hertz CEO Spills Meg Led Her Paid Paparazzi’s Passing Car Office as They Banned from Gala’s Security Area

and made a glamorous appearance at the Miss Foundation for Women's 50th Anniversary Gala in New York on Tuesday.

The royal couple, accompanied by Meghan's mother Doria Ragland, arrived at the event in a grand vehicle, which left fans wondering why they then walked through a Hertz rental car office.

Social media was abuzz with questions such as, “Was the entrance to the venue at the back of the Hertz office?”

and “Why are they in a Hertz car office?”

To clarify, the entrance to the Ziegfeld Ballroom, located on 141 West 54th Street in New York, is not connected to the Hertz car rental office.

In fact, the two establishments are across the street from each other, with the Hertz office next to the New York City Center, according to a map.

The CEO of Hertz shed some light on the situation, revealing that Meghan had private paid photographers who were not permitted into the gala's security area.

To ensure she got the desired pictures, she entered through the side entrance, creating the illusion of a swarm of paparazzi trying to capture her every move.

While the theater does have a front entrance, Meghan strategically used the Hertz office as a trump card.

It seems Meghan pays paparazzi to take her photos, which they then sell, as it wouldn't be worth their time otherwise.

Meanwhile, other freelance photographers were waiting outside the Ziegfeld Ballroom, but their access was also restricted to the security area.

Meghan's private photographers managed to evade security through an alternate entrance.

These photographers continued to cover the couple's activities in New York City, including the possibility of a dinner, as shared by various freelance contributors.

They often create drama by entering through parking garages or other doors to avoid the public and other photographers.

This is a common practice among celebrities who want to maintain privacy.

Meghan's choice to enter through the Hertz office was a strategic move to set the stage for a later chase story.

If they had entered through the front entrance, it would have been evident that there were only a few cameras present compared to the arrival of other high-profile celebrities.

Thus, the narrative of being chased by paparazzi would have made no sense.

A representative from Hertz denied rumors suggesting that had signed a contract with their car rental company.

Previously, Meghan's PR team had mentioned her association with Hertz, an American car rental company, when she arrived to receive the Women of Vision award at the New York Gala.

Meghan's arrival was accompanied by her husband and mother Doria Ragland.

However, their departure from the event raised eyebrows as they arrived in an SUV but left in a New York taxi.

This led to speculation that Meghan had secured a new marketing campaign with the taxi company.

This appearance at the gala marked Meghan's first public outing since the coronation of , which she had skipped to stay with their children in Prince Harry's absence.

The couple continues to navigate the world of fame and paparazzi, strategically managing their public image while ensuring their privacy.
